2. Description of Service - We Are a Listings Platform, Not an Employer

Dance Jobs USA is an online venue where dance jobs are advertised and discovered. We provide:

  • Job listing and application services
  • Dancer and studio profile hosting
  • Messaging between users
  • Premium subscription services

We are a platform only. Dance Jobs USA is not an employer, employment agency, staffing agency, or recruiter. We do not employ, engage, supervise, or pay any dancer, teacher, or other worker in connection with any listing on this site, and no employment, agency, or contractor relationship of any kind is created between you and Dance Jobs USA by your use of the platform. Any job you find, apply for, or fill through the platform is solely between you and the hiring party. We are not a party to, and accept no responsibility for, any employment agreement, engagement, payment, working conditions, or dispute between users.

2.1 Aggregated Listings

Some listings are collected by us from publicly available sources to help you discover opportunities. These listings identify the hiring organization and direct you to the original source to apply. We are not the poster of aggregated listings, we do not represent the hiring organization, and we cannot guarantee that an aggregated listing remains open, accurate, or unchanged. If you are the hiring organization and want a listing updated or removed, contact hello@dancejobsusa.com and we will act promptly.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your password
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

3.2 Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use our services. By using Dance Jobs USA, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Post discriminatory, offensive, or illegal content
  • Use the platform for spam or unsolicited advertising
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the platform
  • Scrape or collect user data without permission
  • Post jobs that are not genuine employment opportunities

5. Job Listings

5.1 Employers

By posting a job, you confirm that:

  • The job is a genuine opportunity
  • You have authority to post on behalf of the employer
  • The job complies with applicable federal, state, and local employment, anti-discrimination, and background-check laws
  • Pay rates meet or exceed the applicable federal, state, or local minimum wage
  • You, not Dance Jobs USA, are solely responsible for the hiring process and any employment relationship that results

5.2 Job Seekers

When applying for jobs, you confirm that:

  • Information in your profile and applications is accurate
  • You are legally authorized to work in the United States (where applicable)
  • Any qualifications claimed are genuine

6. Payments and Subscriptions

6.1 Premium Subscriptions

  • Premium subscriptions are billed monthly via PayPal
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
  • You can cancel at any time from your account settings
  • No refunds are provided for partial months

6.2 Job Boosts

  • Job Boosts are one-time purchases
  • Boosts are non-refundable once applied

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Content

The Dance Jobs USA platform, including its design, logo, and content, is owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you post (profiles, jobs, messages). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with our services.

8. Disclaimer

Dance Jobs USA is a neutral venue that connects users. We do not:

  • Employ any dancers, teachers, or other workers listed on or using the platform
  • Act as an employment agency, staffing agency, or recruiter
  • Interview, vet, background-check, or verify the credentials of any user, employer, or listing
  • Guarantee the accuracy, availability, or lawfulness of job listings or profiles
  • Guarantee successful job placements, hires, or any particular outcome
  • Participate in interviews, negotiations, contracts, or payment between users

Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence when hiring or accepting work, including verifying identity, credentials, pay, and terms directly with the other party.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our services are provided "as is" without warranties
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dance Jobs USA from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms of Service
  • Engage in fraudulent activity
  • Harm other users or our platform

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
